Children and Youth Sunday School Classes

Our mission is to make disciples for Jesus Christ.
Through regular attendance our students learn the value of committing their lives to God. Through
the weekly memorization of Bible verses, they learn how to use the Bible to guide them. They learn
the Pledge to the Bible, the Lord's Prayer, and begin to learn the Books of the Bible.
K - 2nd Grade Class
The Primary Sunday School class is taught by Christie Bell and Dawn Rhodes.
They are using the Rock Solid- Building a Heart of Faith curriculum by Cokesbury. The class is
designed to "Build a heart of faith in a child that will be a strong foundation for life!" Class activities
include music, art, theatre, movement, laughter, sign langauge, discussion, imagination, education,
entertainment, hands on activities, stickers, games, crafts, snacks, Bible stories, worship, prayer
and much more!
Lambs of God (3rd - 5th Grade)
The Elementary Sunday School class is learning The 10 Commandments, the 23rd Psalm, and studying
people that served God. The class is taught by Fran Wiley and is currently using Cokesbury's Rock Solid-Building
a Heart of Faith. The missions and activities focus of the class is to learn ways to serve God and to grow
as Christians. The class has discussions about daily life that helps students apply what they learn in Sunday School.
Junior and Senior High Class (6th-12th Grade)
This class recently expanded to include college age young adults. The class is taught by Sarah Deal and Rayne Adams.
The curriculum includes Wired to Worship by Louis Giglio and Cokesbury's Faith Matters for Young Adults. The class involves applying Biblical studies to everyday life. Activities and missions are Methodist Youth Fellowship. Feel welcome
